Today, Ibrahim Needs Assistance.<\/h4>\n

Will You Provide It?<\/h5>\n

Ibrahim looks forward to his second year in Hotel Management at Bethlehem University that started in early September. He lives with his dad and young sister in one of the six Refugee Camps near Bethlehem University. Sadly, his mom is deceased.<\/p>\n

As a refugee, his family\u2019s story goes back to 1948 in Beit Jibreen, where his grandfather was pushed out of his home. His family has been living in a refugee camp ever since. They are a strong family and seek work whenever and wherever possible. But the ever-present raids, with their uncertainty and fear, have led to their house being filled multiple times with gas that has then been ignited by grenades.<\/p>\n

Even though Ibrahim\u2019s dad is employed, his pay is only 2500 shekels ($670 USD) that barely covers their living expenses. With a younger sister in kindergarten, his Bethlehem University scholarship gives the family, \u201cone less problem to worry about.\u201d<\/p>\n

After graduation, Ibrahim is \u201choping God permits him to open a high-class restaurant\u201d but if that does not work out \u201che will work at restaurants or managing a hotel.\u201d He recognizes that Bethlehem University is helping him gain the skills and knowledge needed to manage a hotel or restaurant and run a business.<\/p>\n

He is grateful to BUFUSA\u2019s many donors for their help in supporting his education and that, \u201cthere are many students who have the same situation as me or worse.
