The visit aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application through real-world experiences which is rooted in the University\u2019s Transformative Education Model, emphasizing analytical and understanding-based learning.<\/p>\n<p>The Al-Shurooq School\u2019s occupational therapist, Ms. Dana Ramadan, led a series of hands-on activities that allowed the students to experience the world through the perspective of someone with visual impairment. In addition to an introductory lecture on the role of occupational therapy in schools, a guided tour of the facilities was provided along with time spent inside classrooms observing specialized instruction methods and adaptive tools.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9048\" src=\"https:\/\/bufusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Al-Shurooq-School-for-Blind_May-19-2025_pic-1_1200x600-300x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"327\" height=\"200\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9046\" src=\"https:\/\/bufusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Al-Shurooq-School-for-Blind_May-19-2025_pic-3_1200x600-300x169.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This visit allowed occupational students to work directly with visually-impaired students. By adopting an experiential learning approach, students were able to interact more effectively with the educational process.
