Interactive Learning Days Connect Education, Nature, and Community<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

More than 240 Bethlehem University students from the Faculty of Education recently partnered with the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) to create an unforgettable learning experience for approximately 350 children from eight schools across the Bethlehem area.<\/p>\n

As part of a series of Interactive Learning Days, Bethlehem University students designed and facilitated 20 educational stations featuring science experiments, mathematics activities, educational games, creative exercises, and environmental learning experiences. The event transformed learning into an active journey of discovery, encouraging children to explore, ask questions, and engage with the world around them.<\/p>\n

Through visits to PIBS’s biodiversity collections and natural spaces, children gained a deeper appreciation for the environment while developing observation, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. The interactive format fostered curiosity and creativity, demonstrating how hands-on experiences can make learning both meaningful and memorable.<\/p>\n

For Bethlehem University students preparing for careers in education, the program provided valuable practical experience. By planning activities, guiding young learners, and adapting lessons to different ages and learning styles, they put educational theory into practice while discovering the impact they can have as future teachers.<\/p>\n

The collaboration reflects Bethlehem University’s commitment to experiential learning and community engagement. By connecting future educators with local children through meaningful educational experiences, the University is helping form teachers who lead with creativity, compassion, and a passion for lifelong learning.<\/p>\n
