Build a Children’s Playground at PIBS and Support Other PIBS Activities

The Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) at Bethlehem University is creating a dedicated children’s play area. This initiative aims to foster environmental awareness, curiosity, and a love for nature in young children, ultimately cultivating the next generation of environmental stewards. The play area will feature interactive exhibits, educational games, and natural elements that encourage exploration and learning about biodiversity and sustainability.

By nurturing young environmental stewards, we can help address pressing environmental challenges and build a more sustainable and just society–all while giving children a safe space to play. The creation of a children’s play area at PIBS is a valuable investment in the future of Palestine.

Project Activities Include:

• Design and development of age-appropriate play areas, both indoors and outdoors.
• Curate interactive exhibits and educational games related to biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable living.
• Organize educational workshops and guided tours for children and their families.
• Partner with local schools and community organizations to promote the play area and its benefits.
