In November and December of 2023, some 320 Bethlehem University students virtually engaged with other students from Europe and the Southern Mediterranean in a European Union sponsored four-week program. This program focused on building students’ digital literacy, teamwork skills, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding through facilitated discussions. Students received micro-credentials for their participation.
“Participating was a unique and very enjoyable experience. The topics we covered were very interesting and eye-opening such as global warming, cultural differences, the conflict in Palestine, and how we use social media differently. It was fun meeting new people from all across the world with unique and different backgrounds but in some wonderful way we all shared similar opinions on many worldwide topics”-Donna Yatim, first-year Hotel Management and Tourism student
Through the whole four weeks, I met a group of nice people with the same interests from around the world and I was excited and engaged in every meeting conducted. Thanks for everything!
